How do we understand and explain environmental damage at sea?
Ocean Crime Narratives (OCN) (2022-2027) is a research project interrogating hegemonic narratives in ocean environmental crime. The project focuses on cultural, legal, and scientific discourse from literature, cinema, political ecology, criminology and oceanography.
OCN is funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The research is based at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) under the supervision of Marta Puxan-Oliva.
